Raising funds for educational bursaries, fellowships and exchanges in the UK and abroad

Aims

In its Strategic Plan  see(   ASGBI Newsletter Number 16, December 2006  ) the Association acknowledges that, to fulfil its purpose, it must be a driving institution that is recognised by its members as useful and important and also give value for the annual subscription. Additionally, the Association’s founding mission was “the advancement of the science and art of surgery and the promotion of friendship amongst surgeons”. 

To support these aims, and in line with the advice from the Charity Commission, a new trading company was established. This new company, ASGBI Ltd, was formed on 1st January 2007 as a company limited by guarantee registered in England, Number 6029524.
